Connected to my wireless network no problem.
Software installed on my PC Win 7 64 bit no problem.
It connected to my PC and tablet app no problem.
So far have tried printing scanning and copying and all works very well.
This has been installed and used for two weeks.
Very happy.

Print quality is OK and ink seems to last for decent time before replacing. Scanning does not work. Spent hours with customer Service (very polite)and would remove and reload drivers, Scanning only works for a few days and then doesn't. Worked around scanning issue by scanning thru google. Paper tray is not easy to load and you can't see how much paper is in tray. Must be better options for the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only had my 5520 for a few days. I have a Mac, iPad & iPhone. Set up was very easy and I am not techie. I followed the quick set up guide and it went seamless. No special apps need for iPad and phone. Once it found WiFi, it was just select a printer. I highly suggest using the USB cable for set up. I give it 5 stars for now. This is all based on ease of setup and initial use of each function. I have only printed one photo (very nice by the way), and used all the other functions except FAX. So far very impressed. I have read reviews about how loud it is, but I have never owned a quiet printer so I cant judge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a much needed machine but is not as user friendly as it should be. We only needed it for Ledger size prints, but when we tell our computer to print to Brother printer a "ledger"
size print it tells us the paper is out or has to be changed. Then we have to go to the printer which is in a different area and reset the machine.
This happens each time we need to print a ledger size page. We use this printer for ledger size printing only, so it should not have to be reset manually each time we use it.
