Only had it a few days. Was easy to set up and works great. Had one issue on setup and tech support solved it during short chat session

This printer was the beast investment I've made in a long time. Setup was simple; the printer came with an installation disk, and once I registered my product on the Brother site, everything synched; it was amazingly easy. I've had no trouble since I purchased this printer, unlike the HP Officejet all in one it replaced. It stays online, everyone can print with different versions of Windows, and the quality is excelllent. I highly recommend this printer to anyone needing a medium level all in one; I've had several and this is the best BY FAR.

Poor iphone interface

Have loved Brother printers for years. However, this machine, even with tech support, would not connect with my iphone. Had to return it. Now have an HP which connected right away with all devices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Misleading product description

The description should clearly state that it’s print function is in black only and no color!
It’s misleading otherwise as it shows “color scan” and also says “compact” while it definitely is not! Very disappointed here!
