Came with flaws - still working at fixing them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My range came with the left rail of the bottom drawer unscrewed to the frame and with scratches on part 19, the front panel, which is made of a grayish white plastic covered with a black lacquer. Why not make it in solid black plastic. The black lacquer was chipped or scratched off in multiple places. The first replacement part also came with flaws. We are now installing a second replacement part, which also came with a minor flaw, but we are giving up of receiving a part 19 in mint condition.
Bottomline: we are not impressed with the finish quality of this product, which is supposed to be a high-end product from Frigidaire.
As far as functionality is concerned, I like the integrated timer, and the ease of programming baking time and other timer to keep track of cooking times. Transitioning to induction cooking is challenging, as temperatures and cooking times need to be adjusted.
Another challenge: It is hard to season carbon steel and cast iron pans on the stove top, as it is not recommended to heat up a pan with nothing inside at high temperatures. Hopefully, those induction-ready pans will season with use.

Good range

I love the fast heat opion on my induction stove. Cooks faster and heats up real fast. Oven cook times are shorter then your standard electric burner stoves. Sometimescan be difficult to remove stains off the glass top. Other than that got a great price from lowes!

30” Friigidair Gallery Induction stove

We have had our Frigidair induction stove for 7 months and absolutly love it! I am continually amazed how quickly it boils water when making pasta. We don’t have to worry if our grandkids are helping cook that they will get burned from the hot surface or tuching a hot surface if they accidently turn the knob as it will not go on unless there us a pot there
I would recommend this to a friend!

BRAND NEW NOT WORKING PROPERLY

We bought this based on previous great experience with a Induction range. The features we were used to with our previous range were the power boost boil and the ease of cleaning. We are so unhappy with this model. the burners are supposed to fit different size pans and this one does not. Also, the power boost for boiling does not work. Frigidaire has sent out three techs and the last visit, the inside manager said to use cast iron which we did and it took nine minutes to boil on two of the burners. We are so unhappy with this new appliance in our new home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only way to cook
