I purchased this unit even before it had been released to the public--found out about it by coincidence. I wanted a slide-in induction range with knobs to control the cooktop elements (rather than touch panels), and this was the only one on the market (even though it wasn't quite there yet).
The induction function is amazing--quick, responsive heating and adjustments--better even than gas. Pot handles don't heat up as much because hot air is not circulating up around them. The surface doesn't get nearly as hot as on conventional electric ceramic tops because only the pot heats it--not the element below. I haven't used the convection oven yet because I tend to use the convection function in the smaller, matching combination microwave/convection oven over the range. But it seems functional and easy to use.
The one "surprise" was the significant breeze coming from under the cooktop right at the person standing in front of it--apparently cooling the magnets. Also, it seems the element controls are reversed from most ranges--the outside knobs control the front elements, and the inside knobs control the rears. Little diagrams by each knob explain this, but I haven't gotten used to this arrangement yet.
Overall, it's great to use, and neighbors have been asking me for induction demonstrations--they are amazed every time.

Can't Believe this

First time using the new stove and the trim piece that borders the burner surface got bumped with a hot pan and it melted!! Why in the world would this piece be made of some kind of plastic! Now I have a brand new stove that looks aweful Unbelievable......... We are very sad and disappointed.

The induction cook top kicks rumpus!! I had to get rid of some of my old pans because they did not work but that is fine. There is now wait time for increased temps. If you are on the fence about induction get off. One great thing I love, we put parchment paper between the pans and cook top. Any spills get on the paper plus it protects the glass from scratching while cooking. The convection oven was just a bonus for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The leg adjustment could not be lowered enough to make the top rest on or come close to the granite cupboard top. It sticks up too high. We have a new condo and the cabinets are at standard height the contractor ssys.

Warming drawer is the best thing about the oven.

The oven stopped working about 6 months after I bought it and now I have a expensive stove top with warming drawer .

Stove top scratches!!!!!

Bought this new glass top induction range so I could donate my perfectly good appliances and Saladmaster cookware to a flood victim. Bought all new stainless cookware for induction ranges. I am sorely disappointed in this range. The back left burner does not work sometimes.......the range itself is very noisy when using the range top and also the oven. The worse complaint I have is that the top scratches every time I use it! It seems that it will scratch just by looking at it! I am shaking my head to think I paid the amount of $$$$$$ for it and am having this problem. I never had this problem with my old range. So very very very disappointed and angry.........!!!!!!! I do not recommend to anyone that actually cooks.

Obstructs neighboring drawers! 30”?!

Bought in2017. Had several repair visits that dragged out for weeks. Noisy! I cannot open drawers next to range because the door design. Old range was not a problem. This is a problem.

Better than Gas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Induction cooktop is amazing. Pans heat up quickly and evenly. A spill on the side of the pan in no problem. That heats as well. Since the heat is in the pan, forgetting to turn off the burner is no problem. Induction cooks as well as gas while safer than gas or other electric options. The stove is especially appropriate for seniors. Since the heat is in the pan, cleaning the cooktop is easy. Food is not baked on. In time there may be savings in electricity use. The Convection oven is great. Cooking is faster and very even. One wonders why there is a "Bake" option. This is the best range I have ever seen.
