Bought about 6 months ago and am happy with everything about it except the black top is very hard to keep clean and the timer is not loud

Love the stove

Our stove is black in color and has the coil burners. I have not found the right product to clean the surface top Any suggestions?,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Drop in range about a month ago and we have been happy cooking and baking ever since!
To install was a little difficult as the appliance man had to cut off about an 1/8th of an inch on each side of the counter. The front height was shorter than my 22 year old Whirlpool which left about a 12 inch gap underneath the stove. Luckily, my husband had a piece of hardwood that fit perfectly and even matched the light oak cabinets!
Although the oven is smaller than the old range, it works extremely well and everything is baked or broiled evenly. I was pleasantly surprised the other day when roasting some poblano peppers to make chile rellenos. The skin was so evenly toasted and all I had to do was peel it off with no effort whatsoever...
Overall, I love my new range and hope it lasts as long as my other one. Thanks Whirlpool for continuing to make such fine products.
