Great camera

I've owned this camera for almost 2 years and shoot mainly youth sports. I shoot at 2500 ISO at high school night sports and found the noise not to be an issue. I don't use a flash but use the 70-200 f2.8 IS lens which is probably why I don't think the noise is a problem. It's a great camera/lens combo for a home town sports photographer. I also own the 1.4 extender which I use for daytime sports. The quality is great!
Pros: rugged, canon lenes
Cons: spot focus is tight

I've taken this camera all over the U.S. and Canada and used it in many different weather situations. Excellent quality, great versatility - sports, weddings, nature etc. Compatible with an outstanding assortment of Canon lenses. Great detail and effective ISO range. Very high value for the $.
The T1i has HD video as does the 5D Mark II and they appear to share the same sensor, image processor etc... a firmware upgrade to include HD video on the 50D would be incredible (and a blow to the competition). Regardless, this is a remarkable camera whether you are just getting started or a pro needing a high quality backup camera.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, fast continuous shooting

I am not a professional photographer but I really want to take professional looking photos. This camera makes me look like I actually know what I am doing when it comes to photography. I love it so much more than my digital Rebel. The LCD display helps me ensure that I have taken a good picture and I find the settings easy to use. I am just really pleased.

On a recient cruse I used my 50D with my 28 - 135 IS lense to photograph the dolphins as they were playing alongside the ship. They were a long way out but with the Canon software I was able to zoom in and print off beautiful 8x10's with the dolphins in full frame. I love this camera.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life

Great camera, I bought this camera for my birthday :) Great quality, it came with 28-135 canon lens. Sharp, juicy pictures. For those entry level customers I recomend to take pictures in RAW format not JPG, so you can easily fix hue, contrast, sharpness, brightness etc with "Digital Photo Professional"software which is included.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, good battery life
Cons: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
