The 3D is awesome on this tv

Besides the picture quality and 3D the google tv has some work to done to make it as awesome as the picture. The reason I bought this tv is because that owned a LG before and it is of good quality except on the older tv when I had a downloaded movie I could change the language on it but not the new one. Overall it is a very easy to set up tv.

Not what I expected

This seems to be a TV for the teenager that loves to press buttons.
I did not like the operating system and I feel it lacks very important features that in my opinion would actually make it a smart TV.
The Trumotion feature actually makes movies look like soap opera, I turned the setting off and I still get a bit of the effect.
The optical audio out works great with Youtube and HDMI, but does not work with Netflix, so I had to use the headphone out, which by the way takes many steps to turn the TV speakers on and off.
I am returning this TV.

This is by far the greatest TV I have ever bought. Great picture, sound and 3d features. Love everything about it. Took my husband a little while to get use to the controller but believe he has it now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has all the qualities a gamer needs when gaming, and when watching movies also. I can't wait to buy this t.v LG never let's me down when it comes to electronics.

the most excellent setup I have ever seen! 3D!!!Whaaaaat??? I'm not even kidding, it's so nice. Only drawbacks might be the lame apps that come stock and the "smoothing" feature is too unreal- all the more reason to agree with that statement and say this TV is UNREAL!!! Best I have ever watched hands down. Thank you LG

Great TV, The best and clearest picture I have ever seen, Very user friendly, I like the smart features, great to watch shows off the internet, And the 3D is the best, very light weight 3D glasses

good hardware interface needs work

i am extremely good with technology and have been working around computer since I was young. lg please read this review and take it seriously if you do these steps will lead you to great success in later models. there is nothing I do better then finding the little things
this is a great TV (the good)
-very slick
-great hardware
-amazing picture
-extremely loud and clear speakers (did i mention how thin this is ?)
-Google TV (will have updates)

the bad
-the interface is not ready
- many apps lag when trying to open and especially when switching from one app to another
going from TV to the home screen the most common thing to takes at least 5 seconds to accomplish
-remote needs a lot of attention
double up buttons /bottom button is hard to push
they keyboard needs to light up /glow
gestures need work
why not just Ir simply to control other devices
has no computer support
wheel doesn't work in a lot of places, it should do exactly what up and down does
- pip needs improvement input to input not available
-no cable card support (game changer first company to have this integrated in their TV
-Ir blaster doesn't control computer... i use windows media center common guys
didn't support my zenith amplifier
ir blaster should have copy remote feature( put remote next to blaster hit power and the IR blaster should be able to copy that code)
-dual play needs work
-Nvidia Tegra should be go to chip for all sleek devices

lots of options for entertainment

I like the google search feature the blueray and the wifi capability. Picture is awesome and the 3d is great. Delay in remote control timing takes some getting used to but I can live with it.
