GREAT TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a great TV. But is not a good smartTV, there is no more updates for it. So now i just use it for gaming. The browser is slow and most of the apps are outdated or don't work. i was able to stream movies from the internet when i bought it and after one update i could not stream from any site.
Pros: Quality, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was great when I first got it....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got it, it was a dream come true however, features slowly vanished from this once amazing tv set. The 3d app that came with the tv was discontinued so the 3d movies that they offered disappeared, then the tv stopped giving the channel information. The tv guide stopped working and later on. Just a little while ago, I had thick dark lines on the middle and right sides of the screen. Now finally it doesnt show a picture at all, just sound. While I was very happy with this tv for a while, the set lasted about 4 years. Now ill either have to repair it or get a new one.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent picture very bad Google support

When I bought this everything was fine. Then it did a compusory software update which virtually destroyed the Google TV software and my satisfaction with the TV. The web browser lost Flash Player so many videos can no longer be viewed. All Notifications both sound and visual disappeared from all my Apps. The Google browser is slow crashes constantly and is restricted.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tv

We have had this for a couple months now. The picture is clear and crisp. We had to adjust settings to minimize the documentary look it gave to all shows especially fast paced movies. The 3D is a nice added feature for the price. I'm sure we don't use a percentage of the cool features it has, but the ones we do are super convenient. The remote is a little annoying in the setup if you don't use the qwerty for the keyboard feature. We have child protection settings in place so flipping over the remote to put our code in sidewise is a bit annoying. But such a small complaint. Slim console. Overall a great purchase!

Product redefines the TV viewing

This is absolutely a wonderful product, with unmatched quality and style. Display is stunningly brilliant, thanks to 240 Hz tru motion and so is the sound. Although passive, 3D quality is good. Best thing is the magic remote, and also your android mobile/tablet can be used to control the TV by installing remote control application on both mobile and TV. Operates on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz Wifi frequency band which also is a pro. I could even connect my wireless mouse and used it to control the TV mouse pointer. Along with all these pros, this product has few cons also. The android version is still not the latest, some applications crash sometimes (well it's android) and the DLNA smart share doesn't work with all the DLNA compliant devices, you need to install third party DLNA application. Hopefully with the upgrades it will get better.
Verdict is, its a great buy for the amount you are paying for.

Awesome TV for the money

I absolutely love everything about this tv. The only thing I could possibly gripe a little about is it seems to have a little more glare than my other televisions other than that everything is awesome.

The features are great. The browser functionality is smooth. The 3D is theater quality (depending on the quality of the movie itself). Aside from slightly imperfect blacks, the picture is flawless. I can't fail to mention the remote, the remote is fantastic! However the qwerty side of the remote is impossible to use in a dimly lit room because the shift functions of the buttons are dark red and you just can't see them.

Best in Class - Get this 3D TV

The picture quality is amazing. Getting a 3D TV even if you don't watch 3D is a good idea, the image processing hardware that comes with a 3D TV is more sophisticated, giving stunning pictures.
I stream movies directly from my Plex Media Server software installed on my laptop, even 2.35:1 aspect ratio movies come in 16:9 aspect ratio. Mind it, this is a feature of PMS software. But it is absolutely a treat for our family to watch movies and shows on this TV.
Forget the reviews that say you need to be atleast 10 feet away from a TV this big to be able to view it clearly - I live in an average size apartment with average size rooms and we have no problem with the picture quality.
I spent 3 weeks doing my research and found out that this one is the best for my needs.
