The LG 60PN5700 is in total an astonishing and breathtaking TV with all what you will expect from a "smart-TV". Easy to connect with the "world wide web" and also with your network at home. It might be that I didn't do the right settings, because I expect a little bit more brightness and brilliance at daylight. But when I use it like a home-cinema in darkness, it is one of the best picture I have seen.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

great value for midline plasma

Provided you're able to purchase this TV in the $800-900 price range it's a great value for a mid-line plasma TV. I've seen it as low as $600 and as high as $1,200 so you do have to shop for a good price.
The picture is very satisfactory and the built in wifi receiver connects quickly & automatically to your wifi. I like the great number of pre-installed wifi program choices & the limited functionality (no download/upload) browser. These features are much easier to navigate and much more extensive than a high-line Panasonic plasma with no browser we have.
Another feature I really like is the LG remote control smartphone app which gives you a cursor to navigate the TV's screen. The supplied remote is not very well ergonomically designed so you're either going to want to use the smartphone remote app or purchase LG's Magic remote.
Overall I'm very pleased with this TV. As long as you don't need 3D or want to play games it's a great TV for the price.
This is my first LG TV so I can't comment on the long term reliability and I've had no need to contact LG tech support for the TV so I just hope it's a lot better than it was for a LG BlueRay player I had to return.
You'll probably need an extension cord to plug it in as the supplied cord is very short.
I recommend this TV and would buy it again.

I love my LG Plasma TV

Compared to other big screen HD TV's, I think that a plasma set gives a better picture at a much better price. LG is one of the last manufacturers that still produce a plasma set and fortunately they make a quality product. Check it out for yourself. Compare how a plasma set looks next to another type. You can't go wrong with LG.

Decent large screen TV with high image quality and smart features. Remote control App on smart phone or pad is a necessary add up, which makes operations much easier.
