Can't be beat !!

After having numerous all-in-one's with mixed results, it's nice to have found a product that actually delivers on its promises!! This is the best value on the market. You cannot go wrong with this and wireless to boot!! Crisp images, easy set-up and a quality build at a very low price point. Canon did it right with this one!
Pros: Lightweight/Portable, durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, Sharp Tones & Colors

Easy and Sleek

I am not a technical person...I like things simple. And that is what I got. I LOVE this all-in-one. It was a breeze to install and even easier to use. I also like the feature of being able to close it up and it doenst look like there is a huge printer sitting in the room...it has a nice sleek design. I would recommend to anyone looking for great quality, ease of use for a good price.
Pros: Compact Design, Lightweight/Portable, durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, Sharp Tones & Colors

Beautiful photos; easy wireless setup

I bought this unit for the wireless feature, so that we could print from different areas of our house. I set it up next to my laptop running Vista, and it recognized the wireless router the first time, although the signal strenfth was borderline. I then moved the unit to where I wanted it permanently (which happened to be in the same room as the router), and the signal strength was great. The instruction setup guide and CD led me through the process with no problem, although I'm just an average user skill-wise. For my desktop PC, I thought I might have to buy a wireless card or USB adaptor (my confusion), but since the router already had an ethernet connection to the PC, Cannon support gave me step-by-step instructions via email on what to do, and my desktop is also now accessing the new 620 on the XP platform. Copy features are easy to use, colors are great; haven't tried the scanner yet. The only minor downside is that the printing of text, etc. in standard mode isn't very fast - and the machine is always making little noises after printing, as it's re-setting itself, I guess.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use, Sharp Tones & Colors, wireless

Excellent picture quality

I just went out and bought this printer as a replacement for a Lexmark multifunction printer that came with a computer I purchased... I had used the printer for awhile, but I couldn't use it to print photo's because the photo print quality was so bad. My previous photo printer was a Canon 850i and I loved it, so I thought I would buy another Canon and I'm so happy I did...I love taking photo's and this printer is better than a photo lab... I love it.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed
Cons: can't think of any yet!

Pixma MP620
on May 3, 2009

The MP 620 is a simple to operate, all-in-one with enough bells and buzzers to handle most of my needs as a professional graphic designer/photographer. It doesn't replace my film scanner, nor my wide format printer. However, it does handle nearly everything else I choose to throw at it. I love it.
Pros: Compact Design, durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: High Ink Consumption

Another Home Run for Canon
on May 27, 2009

I have consistently found Canon products to be above average. This is my third Canon printer, but my first multifunction printer. I initially purchased the MX700, but I returned it because it was overkill for my home use, and it had a larger footprint.
I wanted a compact system that would print, copy, and scan, and could be connected to a wireless network. This product will replace my older Canon pixma printer and a very old stand alone scanner.
My only complaint was the wireless set up. I had to call Canon tech. support, and they had me up in running in a very short time. The tech support is based in Virginia, with very competent English speaking representatives.
Pros: Compact Design, easy to use, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Difficult Setup

I purchased this machine & it performs as advertised. Beautiful color when you set up the print heads. I had a problen setting up the wireless so I called up Tech support & got this Tech named Robert & let me tell you he was the greatest, He had me up & running in no time at all. I do have other Canon products & I will certainly continue to buy them, Their Tech. service rates 100+ percent.
Pros: Compact Design, Lightweight/Portable, durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, Low Ink Consumption, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: no cons

Excellent product, good value

Setup of desktop computer via USB and laptop via wireless went well as the instructions were good. The first attempt with the USB connection failed (probably my fault), but worked on second try and the wireless connection went without problem.
The performance is excellent and print speed is much faster than the replaced i960. Photo print quality is excellent. By simple visual comparison, the prints are essentially identical to those printed with the former i960 and also test prints done by Canon with the PIXMA Pro9000. I would expect the Pro9000 to be superior under critical inspection, but for everday prints the PM620 is fully satisfactory.
Ink consumption not yet known.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Heavy/Bulky
