wired LAN easy- wireless impossible

was easy to set up wired via usb into laptop. when hit print such as a doc, takes much longer to "think about" before starting to do the print job than my canon i550 did. don't see when the say it's faster. as for the wireless feature so I can sent things from my other wireless laptop, I've had the printer for 8 days now and working some each day have not been able to get set up yet to use as wireless printer. as I read in other reviews, it is difficult to set up wireless. they're right. it is difficult, no VERY difficult if I ever can, to set up wireless.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: Difficult Setup, Slow Print Speed

Great Features, Difficult to Use

This printer has a lot of great features, unfortunately, there isn't much help in order to help the user use the features. It was extremely difficult to set up and once one black ink cartridge goes out, you can no longer print. I have been trying to find a way around this, but no luck. Again, it has great features, and everything that I want in a printer, but it disables you from selecting the way you want to print or scan. I also have troubles with wireless scanning. I wish there was double-sided printing capacities to this printer. Perhaps there is, but again, there is nothing that tells me how to do it!
Pros: reliable, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors, great features, wireless printing
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Heavy/Bulky, Difficult Setup, High Ink Consumption

I like this printer overall.
Pros----real easy to use.
Cons----If you run out of black ink it doesn't print.

If your someone who wants a printer mainly for black and white documents this can become a problem. Also the ink cartridges are very specific so it gets a bit annoying when buying refills.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use

Good printer

My MP620 replaced two previous non-Canon all-in-ones. Easy set-up, and it's been reliable so far. Good quality printing, although the ink cartridges don't last as long as I would like. The front paper tray seems a bit flimsy, but haven't had any trouble with it yet. Would have been a big improvement if the memory card slot area had been made of the silver-colored plastic (same as the memory card door) instead of black plastic. It's hard for us old-timers to see the slots without a flashlight.
Pros: Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Flimsy Construction, ink is expensive

Frustrated with my printer

The print quality is poor and I have to go through repeated cleaning of the system to regain quality printing and this uses up the ink.
I buy more ink for this printer than I used in all my previous printers.
Scanning and copying it does great, but this is a Canon printer.

WAS LOOKING AT A PRINTER AND SCANNER TO COPY AND PRINT ART WORK, PRINTS AND CARDS TO SELL ON LINE. COMPARED WITH OTHER NAME BRAND PRODUCTS AND THE CANNON, WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COPIED AND PRINTED FAITHFUL TO THE ORIGINAL..BOUGHT ONE FOR THE HOME COMPUTER AND ONE FOR MY LAPTOP, SO I COULD GO WIRELESS.IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTUCTIONS I HAD NO PROBLEM SETTING UP THE WIRELESS. I HAVE MY WIRELESS IN THE FAR CORNER OF MY BASEMENT AND THE PRINTER ON THE MAIN FLOOR ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE HOUSE AND IT WORKS GREAT. INK USEAGE IS LOW AND PRINTS GOOD. ALSO PRINTS GREAT PHOTOS. VERY EASY TO PRINT FROM CARD READER

It's so good to have a Canon printer after all of these years... My last HP died just after one year. I was not nearly as impressed with the other HPs and Brothers that I have had. I think I may purchase another for my office at work! AAA+++++++

Best purchase ever

Had the copier 1 week. Found it very easy to set up. Pictures very sharp. Fast at printing both pictures and plain paper. Easy to use. Have it connected wireless to 2 notebook printers.
