Excellent printer

I found the mp 620 to be a good quality and affordable printer
Think its one of the better for its price.
This was my first printer setup to my wireless network and it was fairly easy to have it sync and ready to print.
Looks nice and compact but does have a large footprint so you will need some space for it.
Also seems to print fairly fast, though i have not tried out the printing photos yet
Overall i would recommend this printer

I have had the printer for about three months and I have been very happy with it. The setup was easy and photo colors are very precise right out of the box.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, easy to use

Canon Saved the Day

I’d bought a similar all-in-one “Brand X” and ran it for a week. But two drawbacks left me dissatisfied.
• Lack of “print preview” option on the PC screen.
• Unbearably long wait time for printing to start.
The result is I was left sitting (for as long as 5 minutes sometimes) not knowing
• If or when my job was going to print
• If I’d made a mistake (e.g. if the image was falling off the bottom of the page)
• What the ink levels were.

I exchanged Brand X for the Canon Pixma MP620.
The negatives are:
• The setup time was longer
• I found the print head alignment procedure confusing
• I had great difficulty opening (snaping the caps off) the ink tanks. (The photo diagram on p. 6 is not helpful at all).

But the positives more than compensate:
• Print preview option on PC screen (yea!)
• Easy one-button check on printer of ink levels.
• Fast! No interminable wait time for print job like Brand X.

And an extra I didn’t know in advance
• Choice of location for plain paper supply. (I prefer “rear” – less bending of paper).

Pleased with it

Had this printer now for a few months and works just fine. Very pleased with the quality of the prints. Photo's come out crisp and clear as if it was a 35 mm picture. Scanner works great and is prity fast to scan. All an all a good printer/scanner. I am running Windows RC 7 and printer is working great still. Some issues with networking in windows RC 7 but I am sure by finnal release Canon will have the right drivers for it.
One thing is the inks. Will go through the yellow ink fast if printing photos. Not for individual sale from what I can see. Could be wrong on this, have not looked into indavidual sale on inks yet.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: High Ink Consumption

Quality printer at a bargain price.

This printer is used primarily for basic computer printing; but, the three things I wanted in a new printer were (1) front loading tray, (2) scan to email capability, and (3) envelope printing. I knew this printer was front loading; however, the scan to email was a complete surprise, and I haven't attempted envelope printing yet. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of this printer as it compares with others at a much higher price.
Pros: Compact Design, easy to use, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: instructions were difficult to follow

My other canon printer lasted 8 years and im guessing printed over 10000 photos for me. This one is a new type to me being a scanner copier combo but it prints just as good as the old one. Only thing I miss from the i960 is the auto turn off and on. I may have not found it yet. I keep discovering things this one will do

Cons: missing auto on feature

A very nice, all-in-one, printer. My first Canon printer and I am very satisfied. Easy to set up and the color in my photography is supurb. Foot print is abit large, but then, to me, large and heavy, means better quality. Excellent quality for dollars spent and I would recommend this to my friends.
