Great printer

This printer is by far the best all in one I have ever bought! But It was verry hard for me to get it hooked up to my network here at home. The photo quality is great
Pros: Compact Design, fast print speed, Low Ink Consumption, reliable, Sharp Tones & Colors
Cons: Heavy/Bulky, Difficult Setup

Great Printer

I have had this printer for about a week now and I love it. It has a great quality for the printing. It prints real fast and the technology on it is great. I love the way it prints fast, door pops opens when printing. Great investment! Love the wireless!

Easy Set up

I've never written a review before so you know this machine made me happy. I am TERRIBLE with electronics - I can barely use my cell phone. So I set aside 4 hours to deal with setting this one up, contacting tech support etc. But no! I printed from my computer within 30 min of taking this out of the box. I was thrilled beyond belief. The copies don't look exactly like the originals but I think overall this is a great product at a reasonable price. It's physically larger than I expected so make sure you have space for it.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Heavy/Bulky

Great wireless printer!

Bought this printer with a MacBook Pro in July 2009, and it was simple to set up, even the wireless printing was simple to set up just by following the instructions. Instructions were clear enough and in good English.
The scanning software is very easy to use and makes it incredibly simple (just a few clicks) to scan and save,say a PDF file of, the document. I love the wireless printing! I'd never used it before, but it is so convenient with laptops.
Prints very fast and the photo quality is very good, say 4/5 stars. Takes 4x6 photo paper for easy printing of snapshots. Can print directly off a memory card also, which is very handy if you know you want to print a pic that you just took, but you don't want to edit it or upload it to your computer.
Overall a great design for an all in one, with great features (if you do a lot of scanning or faxing you might want to upgrade to the Pixma with auto feeder for multi page scans). Dont forget to set up the wireless printing!

Have been using for 2+ weeks and am very impressed so far. Can't tell photo prints from originals. Very quiet, and love the automatic open door feature. Also love the two tray paper input for photo and regular paper.
Only con I see is flimsy paper tray in front that holds standard letter paper. All other parts feel and look very durable.

Read several reviews about this printer before deciding to buy this one. Researched the internet on all models of this type and found the best reviews were for the Pixima 620B. Some reviewers stated slow print speeds and hard network setup. I have not experienced either of these. Print speed is great, network setup went smoothly, and photos come out looking as good as you can get from a lab. It's like they always say read the manual first, follow instructions, and you will have no problems. Can't comment on ink usage yet, but all printers of this type use ink, thats how they keep prices down. I have to say it seems to use much less than my old one, and prices are alot cheaper. If you are looking for a great printer at a great price, be sure to check this one out.
