good printer - bad win 7 setup

i was very disappointed in the setup capability
on Win 7.
There was no information in the package on Win 7 and
the setup package did not have any warnings about trying to install the enclosed disk inspite of the fact that win 7 support is advertised..
i'm also unsure of the reliability. several times I printed pages and only part of the page printed.
The printer as a whole has a lot of capability and the price is right but Win 7 setup is terrible !!

Satisfied, but little disapointed

Was very pleased with the quality, speed, and ease of setup. Haven't printed too much yet, and two of my color cartridges are already showing almost empty. This may get expensive, since refilling these cartridges is not an option.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: High Ink Consumption

Four months ago I bought the PixmaMP620. I found it very easy to set up and was able to get it all done in 45 minutes, with no need for tech support. I do a fair amount of card stock color printing and have been pleased with the consistent results. I have not yet read through the tutorial to figure things out and am still pleased with what I am able to do. I am not a tech person and am not patient about learning new ways to do what I was comfortable doing with a different printer. This printer has allowed me the freedom to create and do what I need to without a huge learning curve. The only downside is the ink cartridges are small; good for 150 prints instead of 400. However, for me, the ease of use and learning makes it well worth the extra ink. I am still pleased 4 months later.

Great buy for the money! Much better than the HP's in the same price range in my opinion. Copy's quickly, sets up easily, and is full of features and options. Wireless is a plus also.
Pros: Compact Design, durable, Easy Setup, easy to use, fast print speed

Canon Pixma MP620

This is a great all in one printer. I had a canon printer before but I wanted a scanner for my photos. This printer does a really good job in printing photos I was so amazed at how quick it prints photos, and scans, copies I would highly recommend this printer. It is excellant for someone who wants to print alot of photos I have printed Alot of my new daughter and I haven't even changed out the ink yet. Canon is a great brand.

A Printer You Need At A Great Price

I've had my Canon Pixma MP620 wireless printer for about a month now and recommend it to anyone wanting quality photo printing, as well as all printing needs for personal use or even a small business. In addition to that it is also a very easy to use scanner and copier, all built together in one box. And it does all this without taking up too much of your desk. It also has slots for your photo chips, and prints your pictures directly from them without going through your computer.
My background was in printing during my working years and Canon lays down color for printing the way big printing presses do - one color at a time, giving you excellent coverage and quality to rival laser printers as well as many commercial jobs. My experience with Canon printers using individual color ink cartridges is that you actually do spend less on ink because you only have to replace the depleted color cartridge.
The only feature missing on this printer is an internal double-sided printing feature that I've had on pervious Canon printers I owned. But an extra plus for it is that this in one wireless printer which actually does work well wirelessly. A previous "wireless" printer I had didn't work very well. This Pixma MP620 does. I highly recommend it.

Handsome Wireless Machine

I like the portability of the printer since all I need is an electrical outlet and I am in business. The setting up was easy and I was able to network it into a second desk top in another room. The colors are marvelous.

Great All Around Printer

I bought this printer when I got my Macbook this past Christmas, and it came virtually free with it. I haven't had much heavy use out of it, a few pictures here and there and some scanning, but mostly basic document printing. It's worked great for everything I've done, and the wireless feature is great and anyone with a laptop should get a wireless printer. I keep it in my room and can print from anywhere I get wireless, it's great. The screen on the printer is very convenient and it is easy to use and understand, whether you're copying, scanning or printing anything. My only trouble with it was setting it up, but that was probably my own fault. Very good printer and I'd recommend it to anyone for all around use.

Cons: Heavy/Bulky, Difficult Setup
