Wanted to know our food was safe

We purchased our Frigidaire because of its name. Frigidaire was the name brand my parents had owned growing up, and it never failed. I want the same safety and security in a product for my family...thank you Frigidaire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had problems with this unit since I purchased it in November 2017. I was told that it would work in an detached garage. Turns out that it did not have the correct thermometer attachment and I lost all of my freezer food due to this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SteveS1962, I am sorry to hear about misinformation you received. I truly realize that you purchased your refrigerator in good faith to withstand the winter temperatures in your garage. If the garage is below 34 degrees you do risk the chance of your appliance not functioning properly. We do not recommend that your refrigerator is in elements that are colder than 40ºF for a substantial amount of time as this could cause a change in the performance that you aren't used to. less an 2 years old and developed coolant leak where cannot be repaired. was told this happens to this model.
