I need a garage ready top freezer

I bought a Frigidaire FFTR1821QW in December and it didn’t work because the garage temperature was below 55°F. Is this model garage ready? Or does it require a kit? Are there any garage ready models available

Good morning, Sterge. Thank you for sharing your review with us regarding your refrigerator. If your refrigerator is located in a garage or basement you will need to have a garage kit installed. Once a garage kit is installed in your refrigerator it can remain installed all year round. It does appear the garage kit is designed for around 34 degrees Fahrenheit or above ambient temperatures. Additionally, you may contact us directly if you wanted to obtain the required parts. Hope this helps!

Extra basement fridge...

ONLY negative I have is; I wish the freezer had a bit more space... looked large at the store, but once in my home and loaded with stuff... it does not fit nearly as much as i had hoped it would... IF i could figure out how to move the shelf up or down it would be better...
I would recommend this to a friend!

refrigerator FFTR1821QW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my home remodel. The unit is nice but a little big for my kitchen. The measurements listed were slightly different then the actual size. When sent the handle was on the wrong side so I had to which it, which didn't work out to well. When it cycles it is louder then my dishwasher. other then that the refrigerator is fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
