I purchased this fridge after my old freezer section died. My old fridge was a Frigidaire that lasted at least 15 yrs with good service, so I specifically looked for another Frigidaire. This time I picked a top freezer model. It's working great.
The "gurgling" when the coolant refills is a little loud, sound more like my friends ice making model, but that's the only minor issue.

Had to do a very quick purchase when my frig just died. This one looks good and works well. Only thing that is not right is the bottom hinge rubs and makes a scraping noise. Would think a new appliance would be perfect. Someone forgot a lube job.

I bought this refrigerator about six months ago. From day one whenever the compressor came on it knocks and hums loudly while running. A tech is coming out to install some noise dampning kit soon. I'm sure the kit will take care on the humm but I still question the knocking at initial start up and why wasn't this kit installed to begin with? I shouldn't have to lose time waiting on a repair man to install something that should have been installed from the factory. Other than that I gave it three stars because it does still cool well and keeps my food fresh and frozen.

We like the frigidaire But when the motor is running it has a smell to it. Doesn't last long but the smell is not pleasent . Hope the smell stops soon.
