Not what I was expecting

This was a brand new unit that failed in two parts. First the bottom half went and I lost most things and then the freezer went and I lost all my meat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes! Coqui, regretfully, my research was unable to locate any recent contact, or service request, pertaining to your matter. If your refrigerator was installed in an area where the ambient temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the refrigerator. If you install your refrigerator in a garage or other unheated area, you may experience freezer temperature problems during the winter months when temperatures dip below 55°F. Equipping your refrigerator with a Garage Kit will lower the minimum operating temperature of your unit to 34° F. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought mine the last of July this year and I've yet to be disappointed! The freezer is frigid cold... I have ice when I need it and have never ran out. One night, my friend left the door ajar... nothing was defrosted.
The size is perfect! Plenty of room for all my condiments, vegetables, leftovers, etc., easily accessible. The milk stays cold and I bottled water on the upper shelf for quick thirst.
Highly recommend purchasing!!

Freezer not working right

We bought this Sept. 6 of this month, not even a month yet and the freezer is not working right. Meats freeze good but bread and ice cream melted. We have to put it higher than recommended temp.

Gosh Lorns! I hate that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase. I’ve always wonder myself why my Ice cream wasn’t freezing and it turns out that Ice cream may not actually freeze, being that it is a sugar-water solution. Crystallization, along with other variables would cause it not to freeze solid. Depending on how the bread is wrapped, it will possibly stay protected for a few weeks. I hope this helps!
