Would not have bought if I new it was this noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the features of the refrigerator but it is annoyingly noisy. When it is running it has a loud electrical sounding hum. I would not have bought it if I new it would be this noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Models like yours may make unfamiliar sounds like a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls or kitchen cabinets may amplify sounds. Not only did it save us money on the electric bill, it seems larger than our much older refrigerator of the same size. Of course we had no problem still packing it full and it is our backup refrigerator.
