I had a Frigidaire that lasted almost 20 years. So, when I decided to buy a new one, I bought another Frigidaire. It fits nicely in the small space I had in my kitchen for a frig. It runs smoothly and I hardly hear it. The Frigidaire keeps things cold in the frig section and frozen in the freezer section. I am very pleased with it.

18" Frigidaire Refrigerator / Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this unit a few months now. It was very noisy initially but has become more quiet over time. It is still a noisy unit, making clunking noises every now and then and I don't know why. The freezer is small and accessibility is a bit cramped. But you get what you pay for and this size fits my mobile home's rather small space. I needed this unit because it was the only unit that would replace my old frig in a small area. It keeps food cold, which is what it is supposed to do. I have some ice buildup on the freezer ledge already. I have the feeling this unit will not get me past a few years, but I could be wrong. The noises from the unit are disturbing, but intermittent and hard to pin down. It works, food is cold - that's it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up my parents owned nothing but Frigidaire appliances and were extremely happy with them. I followed their lead and purchased several Frigidaire appliances over the years with good results. When it was time to replace an extra refrigerator, in my garage, I once again chose Frigidaire. Unfortunately, I am not completely satisfied with this purchase. I'm not sure why, but the items inside the refrigerator are always wet from condensation. Any plastic bags containing vegetables or fruit are very wet inside. I have to put paper towels inside every bag to keep the moisture down. The size, style, appearance and price were all a part of my decision to purchase this refrigerator. I only wish the performance matched those great features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
