Does what I need it to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a little over a month ago. The reviews say it isn't quite and it is not but it does what I need it to do. There were also several reviews stating the seal/gasket around the freezer leaked. Mine did also and was replaced. Seems to be fine now. If you notice any ice build up in the freezer around the door do not wait have the gasket replaced right away.
It is not fancy but a basic unit which is what I wanted. It does not have a light in the freezer which really isn't a big deal just surprised as my last fridge did. That fridge lasted 32 yrs! I'm told I'll be lucky to get 8-10 yrs out of a new one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the refrigerator for my basement, so when I'm entertaining in the back yard I would have the convenience of things being at my fingertips. It started out with the freezer portion not freezing the food and ice cream hard, but now everything is working great. It's so quiet I have to open to be sure it's working. I'm quit staisfied with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven't even had it year and the door handle broke the freezer door pops open when you shut the lower door. I can't seem to get the freezer/frig temos regualted
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi nannarungodo, I am glad to see that your handle issues have been resolved. Also, It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Slamming a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

No Global Warming in THIS fridge...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this secondary fridge to provide a bit more cold/frozen storage space, and placed it in the garage. So far, the internal temps have ranged from really cold (freezer @ -20F) to middling (freezer @ +20). Don't know why it varies so much, but the frozen stuff is staying frozen, so I'm not worried about it. The fridge portion seems to keep stuff between 38 and 40. It's not super quiet, but it's in the garage, so we don't care. Good shelf/bin configurations, and the construction seems sturdy and gaskets seal appropriately.
We love it so far! We've had it almost a month.
