Seal on freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seal on the freezer is not as tight as it should be on the top. When I open the freezer door there is a small amount of frost on the edge of the freezer and sometimes a matching area on the freezer door itself. Other wise the refrigerator is fine. Also didn't realize there was no light in the freezer compartment.

Yikes Stonewall Tom, we hate to hear you’ve got a frosty freezer door. Let’s ensure the gasket is fully seated in the retaining channel (this is where the gasket is seated) and that there are no food items preventing the door from sealing properly. This could potentially be the culprit to the frost you are seeing. Bummer your model doesn’t support a light kit. Great fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge a couple of months ago and it's great. I previously had a side by side fridge/freezer and like this better. Even though it is less cubit feet than my last one I feel like there is more space!

It is clear Frigidaire does not want the truth written about my experience with their product and Customer Service because it is rejected every-time.

Hey shirley1, if the refrigerator is in a garage or other area where the ambient temperature is below 55° F, you may experience freezer temperature problems. The garage kit (P/N 5303918301) may lower the minimum ambient operating temperature of the refrigerator to 34° F. A qualified service technician will need to install the kit.
