MAGRETHER, welcome to the extended Frigidaire family. The sound you’ve been hearing may be part of your appliance’s normal function. The clicking sound you are hearing may be coming from the automatic defrost control. The defrost control can produce a snapping or clicking sound when they are turning the cooling system on and off. New refrigerators are designed to save energy. These refrigerators are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors. The modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Page 18 of your Owner’s Manual addresses the normal sights and sounds your refrigerator may demonstrate. If you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly for assistance.
