Some freezer issues

Having issues with the freezer - & freezer burn on items - have adjusted temp, verified the door is closed - believe issue is with the ice maker.

Good for the minimalist

Features similar to the older models. More plastic and runs louder! Like it because less electrical components to wear out.

A good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator with the freezer on the top three months ago for our summer home and have been quite happy with it. It certainly maintains cold temperatures both in the refrigerator and freezer. One drawback is that the freezer handle sticks out so that it is easy to bump your head when you get up from extracting something from the lower shelves of the refrigerator. Another inconvenience is that the fruit and vegetable drawers are quite small. If one is increasing their consumption of healthful foods, more space in those areas would be helpful. Ovreall though, this refrigerator is a good value and works well.

Simple and Perfect

Perfect size for smaller kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our older electric abuzz led with this refridge and were very pleased with our electric bill! We were limited in space in our small kitchen, but, this is perfect. I do wish it had one more rack, though. Because of the configuration of the shelves, I end up stacking.

So far...No explosions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model specifically because it was rated highly among garage-ready fridges. We've had 2 other fridges in our garage and friends and family have had some also. NONE of them (aside from my grandparents' ancient one from the 40's!) have been able to make it through an entire winter without allowing sodas to freeze and explode...making a big mess that is no fun to clean when it's warm out...let alone freezing cold!
We are almost into February...So far so good...only one instance where the beverages were a tad slushy. But, we turned the dial up a little and we are good again!
My only issue is that the glass in the top 2 shelves comes loose from it's frame without much effort.

Not pleased

We purchased this fridge a year ago. When we first received it, it took several weeks for the temperatures in the fridge and freezer to adjust. Then we realized that everything in the freezer is either frozen solid or completely thawed depending upon when the fan/compressor is running. This ruins all foods placed in the freezer for more than 1 day. If we change the temp, the fridge gets too warm. We are stuck with this fridge, as Frigidaire was one of the only companies that made a fridge the size we needed for our small condo kitchen. We are now resigned to the fact that we can never place any food in our freezer. Thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with this purchase. :(

I received this model from a non profit to replace a broken one. I had no options of style or model. Within a week the fridge handle broke. In a month, the bar across the middle shelf broke taking out a ketchup bottle. I've had it 5 years, its leaked from the bottom for two years and the bottom drawers broke and cracked within 3 years but I can't afford to replace it. The sealing rubber is warped despite my cleaning it with water and trying to maintain the seal. It often opens on its own so we check it constantly. Any food left on the top shelf freezes, but if we turn down the cooling part, the freezer gets to warm. It SUCKS!! Bit, as I stated, it does run. So there's that, I guess.
