The door does not swing closed. I am constantly hearing the beep beep beep to close the door. My other refrigerator did not need this constant attention. After one year, the seal broke which was under warranty. Under warranty means they send you the part and you do it yourself. It came without instructions. I have no idea how to do this but they didn't care. 2 of my family member bought this refrigerator. They both had problems, They both bought another refrigerator. If you by this, get the extended 3 year warranty. Also, they put a white base on a black refrigerator so you see white parts at the base of the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey chatty cather, I appreciate you sharing your refrigerator experience with us. I wonder if your refrigerator was set up correctly? The sides should tilt ¼-inch (6 mm) from front-to-back (to ensure that doors close and seal properly). Page 6 in the Owner’s Manual for your model will show you how to adjust this so your door will close, and no more beeping. I am sending you a private E-mail with some information for you. Excellent Fridge

I bought this refrigerator to replace my old Frigidaire that was almost twenty years old. This new one is working great, and I am looking forward to another twenty years of reliability.
