Really don't notice it running except when it goes into defrost mode.Then it makes this funny noise.Like chipmunks moving ice cubes in the freezer.Or a load motor sound

Looking for More

Had to purchase during the holidays and was disappointed there was little to choose from when I considered the space I have and my finances. I ended up with this model after checking three other stores. I wish it were a bit bigger, especially the freezer section. The slide for humidity on one of the bottom bins does not work, and I had to change my fruits and vegetable storage around. I do not use icemakers and did not want French doors (again, the space I had was too small) or stainless steel. But I am unhappy this type of refrigerator is now relegated mainly to be used as an extra refrigerator for the garage or basement. Some of us have smaller homes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
