Beats Global Warming

Old refrig just couldn't handle the tough Florida heat this summer. The Frigidaire acts like it was living in Alaska and saving on energy to boot!

Great Refrigerator!

I bought this refrigerator as a spare fridge because our other fridge is so old and SMALL. Well, our Frigidaire is now our main fridge.
We love the spaciousness, and especially the clear drawers/crispers. Now we can see what's in each compartment now. Very helpful when you have kids in the house who never put things in their proper place.
I wanted a simple, no frills fridge and I got better than I expected. This is a great fridge at a great price. Very happy with my purchase.

Reasonable price

I liked the color, features and price. It fit perfectly in the space. Only one problem so far. A screw came loose from the door handle but my son was able to fix it.

great style

Received this as a gift when our garage fridge went out. I was surprised at how much room the inside has for the overall size of the refrigerator. I was a little disappointed at the freezer size compared to our old 18 cu ft. refrigerator but with a little practice at arranging the packaging it is doing nicely but the lower portion is great! Freezer is ok but the design of the refrigerator portion is well thought out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This replaces a motorhome gas/electric frig

Poor design on racks on doors; items fall out

I was looking for a cheap refrigerator to put in my garage to store beverages. I wish I had spent more time looking at the door compartments. I have experienced two problems -- one was fixed, but the other one is just a poor design and can't be changed.
The "fixed" problem - I asked the delivery guy to switch the door hinge to the opposite side and he did. However, the rubber seal was compressed during shipping and did not re-form to the new side when the hinge was changed. Thus, there were huge gaps in the seal around the freezer compartment which allowed warm air to enter. The warm air caused a ton of frost buildup in the freezer and the refrigerator wasn't keeping anything cold. Had a repair guy come out and he fixed it easily by heating the seal and re-shaping it. It was easily fixed but required me to be home for a service appointment and I had to clean out the frost from the freezer.
The "bad design" problem - I wish I had paid more attention to the size of the racks on the door. The vertical plastic pieces holding the items in place stick out too far and the drinks either fall over and/or fall through the openings. So every time you open the refrigerator or freezer door, something falls out and you have to watch your toes. Not happy. I don't want to stop using the storage on the door but it is definitely a poorly designed system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
