It's ok, would not be my first choice but we are limited on space so it works for us that way. It is occasionally noisy when it kicks on, doesn't do it all the time though, so mechanically it's mediocre. On normal freezer setting ice cream isn't as frozen as I would expect. Refrigerator space is ok - it helps to have another refrigerator in the garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate this fridge

I bought this a month ago, it makes loud popping sounds, crackles when it is trying to run, it will cool for a while then you have to turn it up all the way to coldest to get anything cold. I have a warranty on it but because no one hears the sounds when it is being checked I am stuck with it. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE OR THE WORTHLESS WARRANTY

Hey ruby9, I understand that you are concerned about the popping/crackling sounds that your refrigerator is making. Typically this is water dripping on the defrost heater during the defrost cycle and is considered normal sounds. I hope this information is helpful! Courtney

Decent, but issue right off the truck

Bought this fridge/freezer to replace one that had taken a dirt nap. Once the freezer had time to get cold, it began making icicles along the top edge and along the top shelf edge. The freezer is set on the recommended setting and is doing a decent job of freezing items. I have yet to contact Frigidaire as I have not had time, but will soon.

I bought it because my last Fridgedair only lasted two years! The Manufacturer claims they have had no complaints, however the man who I bought this new one from happens to also be a repair man and has had several people call him to fix theirs. They can't be fixed because it's a coolant leak. This was the only Fridge I could find to fit in my camper otherwise I certainly wouldn't have gone with this brand
