We have had our frig about a month and are very happy with it. We love the gallon holder design and esp. the alarm for little ones that don't completely shut door.

Seems to run more than it should

The unit seems to run more than I think it should to maintain desired temperature settings. The freezer is set to manufacturer's recommended setting and it maintains proper cooling. To maintain proper temperature in the lower section, I had to turn the dial just slightly right of center. I am a single individual who works during the day. The unit is not full by any measure. And I don't open the door very often. But the motor runs more than it seems my old unit did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey MJM57, thank you for your review. Our new refrigerators are designed to be more efficient in that they use newer components and run at a consistent speed/temperature for a longer period of time using less energy. If your refrigerator is located in a non-humid and not warm environment and you have set your appliance to the appropriate temperature settings (37ºF for refrigerator and 0ºF for your freezer section) you should notice that it runs at a lower speed for a longer period of time. This is one way it is designed to save on energy. Appliances use more energy when they constantly turn off and on. Our refrigerators are designed to allow the fan components inside to run after the compressor turns on. This allows the internal components to cool and the machine to rest even though you may still hear something running. Hope this helps! Jennifer

We bought this fridge about a month ago. We are happy with it. Size is what we needed so we were limited on options. Price was also a thing we were looking at.

happy with it but only find that the guards on the door are to low since small bottles or small cans tend to fall out upon closing the door.

Frig works great but noisy due to ice maker which verdict is still out due to ice functions vary on making ice. Appt is set to have ice maker checked.
