I have had repaired 3 times and another repair person tomorrow. Not freezing food and it's less than 5 months old. Not happy st all.

Poor performance

Warm Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator section works fine. However, the freezer department does not keep anything cold enough, even though the setting in the refrigerator and the freezer is set at the coldest temp. The temp in the freezer ranges from 6 degrees F to 18 F. Mostly the temp in the freezer is around 15 which is not cold enough to keep ice cream hard. Because the freezer is too warm the ice cubes stick in big clumps to each other. The ice maker does not work as well as indicated in the manual. According to the manual, at the very slowest, the ice maker should produce 8 ice cubes every 160 minutes. This is equivalent to producing 72 cubes per 24 hours(1 day). The best ours has done is produce 24 cubes in a 24 hour period.

FreezerTooWarm, I can only imagine how frustrating your experience has been. Is your refrigerator located where the ambient temperature gets below 55°? We do not show your refrigerator listed as being garage ready in any of our resources. If you install your refrigerator in a garage or other unheated area, you may experience freezer temperature problems during the winter months when temperatures dip below 55° F. I have some items for you to check in regards to the slow ice production. Make sure the water valve going to the refrigerator is open fully. The freezer temperature not being low enough will impact ice production, it should be between 5 and -2 degrees (sometimes dropping the temp will increase ice production). Water pressure is a factor that can’t be ignored either, it has to be between 30-100 PSI. If you have a reverse osmosis system, or are on a well, the water pressure needs of the ice maker may not be met. If this hasn’t helped, or you have any questions, please reconnect with us directly for assistance. Please call our Customer Engagement Center at 877-435-3287. Bought to replace a kitchen refrig - disappointed! Liked the textured exterior and round edges and as we needed a smaller size this fit the need for the money. However, within 24 hours we noticed a noise, similar to what an ice maker would make, though this model doesn't have an ice maker. Also, height is not adjustable, which needed to be done to reduce a humming noise. Even had service call made and individual advised nothing could be done, so, appliance returned to store and another refrig. purchase (different brand). Per previous reviews, this may work well as a refrig in an office, basement or garage, where noises would not be bothersome

Excellent solid Refigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this refrigerator 3 months ago as a replacement for a similar Frigidaire model that had last 18 years with no problems. We went with Frigidaire since it is such a reputable and quality brand. This new unit is just as nice, with a slim profile and all the basic features. The price was in our budget.

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good storage options. Just about everything is well made for the price. The only exception are the outdoor handles. They are plastic handles that are connected to the fridge with metal screws, and they start to break after prolonged use.

Door handle broke after 6 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noisier than the old one...but probably more energy efficient. Plastic door handle snapped off after only about 6 months. Fridge (lower) door handle should have been made out of metal.
