POOR Freezer Door Seal

The freezer door pops open when the fridge door is shut - even gently, the door pops open, we have lost our frozen contents 2x. Called Frigidaire, and they stated if a repair man comes to the house and deems it an unnecessary call, then we would have to pay, OR they can send me a tube of white grease to smear along the seal. The grease worked - for about 10 days - hence the second loss of food. We called again - risked the repair man service call charge. He said the seal was weaker than most he has ever seen; ordered a new freezer seal for the door, and then UN-leveled the fridge! he tilted the front of the fridge up so gravity would help keep the door shut - as even the replacement freezer door seal was still weak. Repeat: he checked to make sure the fridge was level - then UN Leveled it. He also recommended to put heavy items in the door - near the handle to help keep an object at rest!
Also, if you put this in a garage and live in a cold climate - he stated we should put the settings to "Coldest" in the winter - this will keep the condenser running to keep everything cold - and with the technology built in - the sensor would notice how often it was running the fan and condenser - and would turn off the fan to help keep the Freezer frozen, but not freeze the fridge.
Crossing my fingers. The fridge was built in May 2015, Purchased in June 2015. Hoping it lasts......

Nice features!

Product works as I need it to. It sometimes hums loader than I would like. However, the alarm feature when the refrigerator door is open too long, is really nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When we purchased this refrigerator it was for drinks and over flow during parties to go in. It came in handier then we could imagine when our daughter and three children needed a place to live and her needs went into it instead. It was truly a blessing

We needed a new refrigerator and found this one at a good price, one thing I dislike is it is kinda loud when running.
