Don't waster your money!

I purchased this Frigidaire refrigerator when I purchased my home four months ago. In addition to the handle snapping in half the rubber seal around the refrigerator door keeps sliding away. In other words it does not always stay shut or close. I recently went to clean the refrigerator, the shelves and drawers are poorly made. I was unable to take one of the drawers out. I would not recommend FRIGIDAIRE products. Do not waste your money.

My unfavorable opinoon of your refrigerator

I bought the refrigerator last month; my wife and I are not pleased and really wish we could trade it in for a different model. The only good feature is that the motor is quieter than our old one. As for the bad features:
1. the freezer is poorly designed, no place to really make ice cubes, no light to see what's inside. Our old model had a light and was much roomier, although it's about the same size on the outside. Hard to see what's in the freezer, even though there's not much room to put items there.
2. The guard rails on the doors in the freezer and the refrigerator section are too narrow, and the space below the rails leaves room for items to fall out.
We miss our old model. How can we get a refund?

Its a refrigerator. I expect it get cold, stay cold and not have issues. So far, that is what it is doing. The only issue I have is minor, there is an spot under the freezer door that appears unfinished. It looks like expanding foam is bulged out of it. I fell that should be finished better.

Not thrilled with auto defrost

Everything in the freezer thaws almost completely then freezes again. Can't buy meat to freeze. Ice cream always soft

Had to get temperatures set correctly. Ice cream in freezer was too soft until we got it correct.

Good standard fridge with design flaws

This was an emergency replacement for a 40-year-old Frigidaire that died abruptly 2 months ago. It was the closest match in dimensions to the old 'fridge. (So far, so good, though I suspect it won't last as long as the old one.) Because I had a space to fit I measured the exterior dimensions and the overall interior. It was only after starting to use it that I discovered a couple regrettable changes in the interior compartment design, and wish I had measured the compartments as well.
The minor change is that the shelves inside the door are no longer adjustable, giving less flexibility in storing tall items. The change that seems to me incomprehensible is that although the exterior depth is the same, the vegetable bins are much smaller. In fact, from the top the bins appear to be a standard 17+" deep; a deep slope inside, though, reduces *by half*; the usable space is far to small for a vegetable bin. These aren't deep enough to store a bag of celery--and that seems to me a normal thing to ask them to do--nor are they roomy enough to hold a 3# bag of apples.
