I had a problem with my washer. The technician visited multiple times, replaced all of the inner parts, spoke with other GE technicians, and spent an hour on the phone with a GE engineer. The technician was a 3rd generation GE repair technician. He really knew his stuff! Unfortunately, the team was not able to resolve the issue. They turned it over to customer relations and I was able to get a brand new washer at a fraction of the cost! Additionally, the great low price included, delivery of new washer, pick-up of the old one and hook-up of the new washer. GE even sent a $50 check to cover my family's laundry! I have all GE PROFILE appliances and I would recommend them to anyone. The customer service is top notch! Thank you GE!

Good basic washer

Good, gets clothes clean
Bad, if it is kind of full, the middle of the clothes do not get wet. Major flaw. That means you can only put a few clothes in at a time which means more washer loads which negates any energy savings you might otherwise get. Very limited.

It takes longer to wash, but it is very economical in water and energy usage, and still clean a large load.
