Not what I expected

I bought it about 3 months ago. Saves water, but takes longer to wash.

Lemon

This particular washer turned out to be lemon that was down more than it was working in the first 7 weeks of ownership. GE was kind enough to replace it with a new washer. The brand itself is good, but it needs a separate rinse and spin cycle like the LG washers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Front loaders are the best

Had front loader before and loved it. New homes came with top loaders. Even had GE Profile top loader. OK but just the same quality of clean as a front loader. Our new home offered the GE front loader with stand. Love the options available and surprisingly it is NSF for commercial use. Does not drip .. as you would think. Offers reloading during the cycle and clothes come out very clean. Many cycles to choose from and the dials and panel is easy to use. Even my 18 year old can figure it out. Straight A student and not a brain in his head when it comes to housework. Yes, I would recommend the GE front loader to my friends .. and have.

Tangles clothes

It is a pretty washer but the worst I ever had. Tangles the clothes a lot, vibrates as much as if you put something over the top it will drop it to the floor, it has a funny smell after it works that force me to leave the door open to allow ventilation. I never had these problems with my previous washers before. A pro, it has a lock that prevents kids to modify it once it is on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like the washer, but noisy and slow

This was an upgrade included in the house I bought. The house has a second floor laundry and it also came with pedestals. The washer works great until it gets into the spin cycle, the whole house shakes and its mildly scary. It seems better if I don't use the spin cycle, but then my clothes are extremely wet and then it takes forever to dry.

Love my front loader!

This washer keeps me from bending over into the drum to get wet laundry! Uses less detergent and still gets my clothing and linens and towels clean. Saves water also. Now I can launder small rugs at home. My bought the pedestal both times. Need it!
