Never-Ending Problems with Spin Cycle; sopping wet clothes

I have sat on the sidelines for several years grappling with the spin cycle problem, but finally had to chime in. Like so many others, I was drawn to this unit based on size and the reputation of Whirlpool. It fits perfectly in the space and, when working, is a terrific unit. However, we have had issues with the unit failing to go into a full spin cycle intermittently and have had multiple repairs, out of pocket, to solve the issue. We have replaced the control board but the issue came back just a few months later. I now have a washing machine that consistently delivers me a load of sogging wet clothes because it won't go into a full spin cycle. I want to get it repaired. I would get it repaired but there seems to be no guarantees that the unit will stay repaired. I would like help from Whirlpool to solve the issue. We want to keep the unit but don't know what to do.

Nothing But Trouble

We have been using this machine for the past three years. We have had intermittent f-06 error codes pop up and go away for no reason. It has been a constant pain to get this thing to start by pressing the start button. Sometimes we can go a whole day trying to start the thing and it won't start, then it will be fine for a few days, then back to not starting. Finally the f-06 error codes have come back and we cannot get it to start up again. Judging by the reviews and info available online, this is not uncommon for this machine even as new as ours. Do not recommend this machine at all.

Fed up with this piece of junk

I bought this washer because I needed one to fit in a small space in my kitchen and I only have 24 inches to fit it in. I wanted a front loader and Whirlpool is a reliable name, or so I thought. I have not had it a year yet and I just called for service AGAIN! It keeps giving A-10 which is a drain issue, and this is after the machine is empty. This problem has been going on since January as well as F-22 and F-23 codes which has something to do with the spin cycle. When I call the service center they always "understand" my frustration and schedule the service appointment which always leaving me going to the laundramat for a week or so. I have had at least six srevice calls for the same problem since January. I will never buy another whirlpool product again. If I could give this thing a zero I would. I spent a lot of money on this thing and it just does not work.

We got this new washer and dryer a couple of months ago and we are so happy with it. Prior to this one, we had a stackable that lasted 20 years. Having a front load makes a world of difference.
