We have a full Whirlpool (KitchenAid) corporation kitchen

We installed a full Whirlpool (KitchenAid) corporation kitchen and decided to purchase this washer and matching dryer based on our satisfaction with the kitchen appliances. The washer is one of the most compact available. The matching dryer is one of the only compact dryers that vents outside. Initially, except for a few bumps, we would give the pair a 4 star rating but after 2 years the washer has a continual issue with not going into the spin cycle. At the completion of the cycle you have a load of wet laundry. With having the door switch and door latch replaced the only other solution is replacing the control board based on the service techs advice. It seems we are not the only people with this issue. Would love to keep the pair but the continual problem/repair really makes it a bad financial decision. If the reliability issues were corrected this would be a great product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most Expensive Piece of Junk I Ever Purchased

I have had this washer for 2 years & it only works half the time. It stalls constantly or cycle simply will not start. After about 6 tries, it might start if you are lucky. I absolutely do NOT recommend this washer. It seems to be a very poor design with a LOT of problems.
