[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted these to keep from making multiple trips from 2nd floor closet to basement washer and dryer. I have bad knees. I bought this pair to fit a very small space and it does so. The controls on the washer needed replacing immediately, and the service people were great. BUT you need to follow the exact steps, IN ORDER, for it to work. Turn to off position, then select cycle, detergent in, set water temp (even if keeping it the same temp) then start. If you do it out of order, it will blink at you for a while and do nothing. Frustrating until I learned the trick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a few weeks ago. didn't notice that the plastic ring around door was cracked. But a replacement was completed very promptly. Clothes come out clean. It shakes a little when spinning , not too noisy. I like that it has an extra spin feature if you want clothes to come out a little less wet. So far happy with this machine.

We've owned this unit for over 2 years now and it's always been problematic. It either will not finish a load and drain properly or won't even start a wash cycle at all. It's been serviced 3 times now and the problems keep coming. This is a horrific product and frankly should be pulled from the market (seeing how i'm not the only person having a negative experience with this unit, based on these reviews)

The washing machine is easy use and offers a good selection of options. I like the extra rinse cycle, but haven't used the cycle that minimizes wrinkles. Clothes come out dryer, so I use less dryer time. The drawbacks are the price and the gasket around the door. After using, one has to mop out the inside of the gasket and make sure it is dry. Also, the washer moves a lot during the spin cycle.

We bought this washer new with our new fifth wheel. We have had it for about 1 1/2 years. The pump has been replaced, the motor control board twice, door switch, and other parts we can't remember. We have not been able to use it for months. The repair tech would come out, diagnose the problem, leave and order the part. He would come back in a few weeks with the new part. Sometimes it would be fixed but if not the whole process would start again!! Now after working two months, it has broken down again!! Whirlpool should just give us a new one, since this is a BIG lemon. This is very frustrating!!!!!

Got my front loading washer (small) and my front loading dryer (small) for my condo. The space is not large where they go. It is in the bathroom, about the size of a linen closet. We rent this condo and it is on the beach so people wash all the time, sand you know. Everyone who has stayed since we got the new washer and dryer have said how great they were. Easy to use and the dryer vent was in the front and not in the top right rear of the dryer where you could not find it. We have a sign that says clean dryer vent after each load. They look great and I really like them.My last Whirlpool wash and dryer were over 18 years old when we let them go to rest. We had moved them from Ohio to Michigan to Georgia.I like my Whirlpool products, good value for the money and they become part of the family. I bet that old washer and dryer could tell some stories. It sure did cover up a lot of mud in its day.
