This product is well manufactured. It does exactly what it claims to do. Not as noisy as a window unit. It was perfect for our bedroom where we like to sleep in cold temperatures. It allowed us to do this and keep the house air conditioner at 74, saving us a ton of money. Only advice: position unit where the air can flow and the air flow is not blocked in any way or confined.

Love, love, love this A/C unit. It was my 2nd try at installing an a/c in my garage window. This was easy to install, it's easy to operate, and does a good job at keeping the space comfortable -- approx. 400 sq ft. I use this garage to provide shelter to a couple of homeless cats that I have cared for, for several years. I am very happy that I am now able to bring them inside in the evening, and overnight, in a space that is very comfortable when it is hot outside.

First of all my newaire came so well packaged beyond my expectations. I was able to unpack easily and quickly as well as vent quickly to my bedroom sliding window. This unit cools extremely well and is also very portable. I am female, live alone, and this machine is excellent in every way. I highly recommend. Noise level-it's an airconditioner and no more noisey than any other.

I had been wanting a portable air conditioner for the bedroom, and this is perfect, it cools the bedroom nicely while allowing me to raise the thermostat in the rest of the house at night thus conserving energy, what a wonderful product, easy to operate and install, the package arrived quickly, and was neatly packed, love this product!!

I purchased this New Air in March of this year. Living in the Northeast it has really been tested with all the heat we have had. It is energy efficient, up to all the new standards, easy to understand and use. It is receiving great reviews because it should. All a/c products make some noise but this one is lower than many out there. I have a different pac in the kitchen and it is very noisy, have a window a/c in the bedroom and it sounds like a motorcycle when the compressor goes on. My husband and I did not want to install new central a/c, much of the house is closed off now to save money on electric, family is grown up, etc. This is a good company to do business with. Happy shopping and I look forward to reading what others write.
