I bought this unit for my 87 y/o mother. She stays primarily in the front part of her home due to mobility issues. Since she's on a fixed income she needed to save money by not cooling the entire house with the rooftop unit. This unit cools the whole front area with ease. Installation was a snap and she's happy. I might have to get me one. Awesome product.

This portable ac unit is awesome!! This product is So awesome we are thinking of buying another one to replace another ac unit we bought years ago(still works--not as good as the newair) but difficult to program.

I love how you can take this AC unit to any room and it sets up just minutes and starts cooling off. We have used it in our bedroom, in the living room (which is open to the dining room and kitchen) and it has been great. The biggest test is that we set it up at our child's school when one of the class's AC units broke. This unit set right up started cooling off the class immediately, It was a real life saver.

We are so happy with this unit. I had read reviews that it did not cool well in humid conditions....WRONG!! We purchased this for our pop up camper. We camped in 98 degree weather in the midwest with high humidity. We plugged the unit in and within 3 hours the camper was cooled to a lovely 76 degrees, I actually had to shut it off in the middle of the night because it was too cold! Definately would buy again.

I only needed this to cool my 12X12 foot bedroom and it works great! I turn it on at about 9, when my bedroom is registering 84 degrees and in less than 45 minutes I am entering my bedroom which is now down to a bone chilling 70, prefect for sleeping.

The NewAir AC-12000E 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner is the second product I've purchased from Air and Water this summer. The air conditioner was for my stepson's studio apartment and it is working better than expected. It was a bit harder to install than anticipated but it works well and we are satisfied with the product. The order was easy to enter using the online system, it was well packaged and it arrived promptly and in good condition.

Did a bit of research and found this unit had very good reviews. I ordered, it arrived quickly and was packaged well. It took me minutes to install. It cools quickly, not terribly noisy (I have a window unit that makes the house rumble), and so far the hose hasn't become too warm. It is nice and sleek looking and comes with a remote. I am considering purchasing at least one more if not two more units. I have an extremely wide window, had to purchase the extra window insert, and fyi there is no unsightly air conditioning unit showing on my first floor window! Absolutely love it. I can't comment yet on the evaporation or how it works in 100 degree weather, or for that matter whether or not it is energy efficient (hence the good rating), but I have high hopes it will be perfect. I am a happy camper.
