A portable heat pump that works for the small shop

I installed this unit in my shop where my 3d printer requires a controlled environment...it's easy to set it...and forget it. It does move the air around and thats a good thing...I was worried about having to buy additional fans to move the air, but with this unit...no need. However, that does mean it puts out some noise. No more than you'd expect given it's performance. Solid construction, feels strong, not cheap. Easy to move around (on wheels).

It was 112 degrees yesterday! Thankfully we were prepared and stayed cool with this Newair Portable Air Conditioner & Heater ~ SKU: AC-14100H! It worked wonders keeping our bedroom cool and kept it at the exact temperature we wanted. Although we do have central ac some of the rooms in our house just don't get cool enough during the summer when it's scorching hot outside. I'm so happy to have this ac as a backup on those super hot desert days. This unit has tons of great features and is powerful enough to rapidly cool 525 square feet fast and has 14,000 BTUs of cooling power! It also has a built in heater and an efficiency booster that improves performance and reduces energy costs! I simply add some water to the tank to cool our home and save money. It's super easy to install with the window kit and can be put in or removed in under a minute. Another great feature is that it's so easily portable and glides around smoothly from room to room on its casters. This portable ac is way better than a built in window ac and even comes with a remote control. All in all it's by far the best ac I've ever owned. If you have any rooms in your house that you struggle to keep cool I highly recommend!!

I've been comparing these units for awhile, trying to figure out which one would be best for me. My Brother-In-Law uses 3 other brands that are 10,000btu and 11,000btu, but they are loud and have other issues with drainage and efficiency. I decided to try this one, and have been very impressed. It's much quieter than the others that I've seen used, and puts out much better airflow. I'm very happy with this unit and would highly recommend it!

Great Unit in Nursery

We have set this up in our nursery for our new baby so we can keep the temperature in the appropriate range for her to sleep and it definitely does the job well! Window set up was pretty easy as well, even for a sliding window.

Great product ! But does have a window minimum

It's a great product !! I highly recommend but There is a window minimum. Like ours we now have to saw off part of the window Kit so that it will work

So far so good. I received the package after 3 delivery delays from the shipping company. will be opening the box and set it up to check that it works as per manufactures directions soon. This was going to be an emergency backup cool unit for downstairs since HVAC went on vacation right when a heat wave came. 5 day's with no AC and a very miserable son and dog is no fun. Thank god for cold shower's and frosty paws and ice water for the dog. Not sure if this will fit on 15 amp circuit but will run it off a 10 gage extension cord to kitchen 20 amp socket. Hopefully its not a 240 unit other wise i am up creek without a paddle.as i forgot to check for that when purchasing it. Newair did their job well and my hats off to them. It was a hot 60th birthday for my wife and hot Fathers day for me.
