This summer has been horrible here in Minnesota. Humidity and heat like you wouldn't believe! My room is the hottest in the house. But this AC unit saved my life. It drops the room temperature 10 degrees in half an hour. If I leave it running, I wake up in the middle of the night, freezing! I would recommend this portable AC unit to anyone. It's great!

I have three units. One quit cooling, made several loud bangs then it quit running.

The unit came promptly and without issue. The manual lacks some detail, which is readily overcome with product familiarization. Installation is simple and straight forward, took only minutes. The unit performance and effectiveness is what really stands out. Turns my bedroom into an ICEBOX. I occasionally have to work graveyards, which means I have to sleep into the day as it heats up. The unit keeps my room cold and I find myself waking up under my comforter. Some reviewers poorly reviewed the unit noise. I strongly disagree, noise should not be a deterrent. The noise level is acceptable. EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE. GREAT VALUE. A device that exceeds expectations.

I ordered a newair portable ice maker beena great help saved me lots of money on ice and when it died i talked with even and he was a real help with replacement even helped with shipping would def order again

Bought some 2 months ago- unit has failed/defective. Customer Service Agent at NewAir- Hienifer, stepped in and resolved the issue. A new replacement unit is in transit.

I have a two story home which I don't have zone heating and cooling. This is portable air conditioner has made my bedroom how much better place to be. Before I had this portable air conditioner, I would never stay in my bedroom. Now I can Sleep at night and actually need a cover. Besides that I actually do not have a ugly unit hanging out my window in the front of my house.

Have a 100+ yr old hse. Had central air put in last yr. does not cool our upstairs bedroom quite as cool as we hoped. Plus we have two GSD who sleep in the room. It gets hot in there. Saw a review on this on YouTube with OUT OF GOSHEN. They loved it, so I figured I would try it. Easy install. Easy to use. Sounds like a regular window unit so to me it’s white noise. Cools the room perfectly. I love this and should have bought it last yr!! The ONLY issue is that the remote control screen does not light up when using it so at 1am if you want to change anything your gonna need a light on. Other than that I have no issues and highly suggest if your on the fence to buy one that you just buy it. You won’t be sorry. Just ask my dogs. No more panting or up n down all night looking for a cool spot on the floor lol
