Amazing Portable A/C

I bought this air conditioner to help cool down my detached apartment. It keeps the entire 600 square feet at a nice 69 degrees when the temperature outside is around 85. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good quality AC unit.

Portable Cooling Where Ever you Need It.

This unit is well built, and cools sufficiently after it gets the room down to temperature. (It took just over 2 days to get the 1,900 Cubic feet cooled down to unit settings) The Ionization Component is not explained, nor the reason for have the Ionization capability??? Anyway, My wife can now do her hair in reasonable compfort.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything I hoped for

I read lots of reviews about portable air conditioners. I even debated getting a room air conditioner. In the end I am glad I went with this unit. I have a loft bedroom with a hallway overlooking my living room. The vaulted ceiling is a challenge as is the south facing sky light. I placed this unit in the loft facing the half wall that separates the loft from the living room. I aimed the vents up. There is sufficient cool air to cool the entire loft area and keep the living room cool. The ceiling fan in the living room area picks up the cold air and drops it into the living room. Works like a charm.

where is the kit for sliding glass doors?

Hello,I was given my newair as a gift,normally i have no problems as far as installing anything,however,you dont show anything on how to install the venting system into a SLIDING GLASS DOOR,not a window,their are plenty of videos articles as so forth on how to do that. you cant use the window kit,because it is so flimsy and was not made for doors! So,i am rather annoyed with your lack of getting information for all types of installation areas NOT JUST WINDOWS! so apparently im going to have to go to the hardware store for their suggestions,something that your company should have done! Im assuming the kit for windows will be expensive.is it a nice machine? yes it is,but come on now,instructions should cover every possible way of being done!

Cools our downstairs nicely!

We wish we had purchased this portable A/C years ago! We looked in the ductless AC system a couple years ago and it was too expensive for how much we would actually need the A/C. We purchased our NewAir for a fraction of the cost and it cools our downstairs perfectly. Very happy with our purchase!
