I would buy this AC unit again

I bought this for my daughter's upstairs bedroom. Her room wasn't getting proper airflow from our central air unit. Her room would get up to 90 degrees. Since we bought this portable AC unit from He said, she can play freeze out on her room. It was easy to setup. It makes a little noise, but she has no problem sleeping with it on. She sleeps very well in her cooler room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very happy with the NewAir AC-14100E 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. It is known that portable units do not cool as well as window units. It was easy to install. The only thing I am concerned about is empting the water, which I have not had to do yet, because there is a skimpy hose to use and it going into the unit, near the floor, I don't know how to drain it if the hose is level with the floor. Guess I will find out. I have not receive a bill yet for the electric so I don't know how energy efficient it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would not buy this unit again

We purchased this air conditioner to cool our living room. The first time we used it I had to fill the efficiency container every hour. That was 3 days in June 2018. In July we had another heat wave. This time the dehumidifier reservoir filled and shut it down. Following the directions given I emptied it. It ran 45 minutes and shut off again for the same reason. It was full again! Ran for approximately 45 minutes and same results. I called Newair and a representative told me this was normal. Also temperatures are not accurate.
Cools the family room in no time! Extremely quiet. Love it!

This is the first portable air conditioner that I have purchased. It was very easy to install. It does a fantastic job. The unit was packaged perfectly. I live on the east coast and it came from across the country. I am very seriously considering purchasing another one. I would very highly recommend this product. It is awesome!

DONT BUY& Don't waste your money

This is not a good AC. Within a month we started to have problems. It doesn't cool down the room, it keeps shutting off, a "E2" error keeps popping up. Just a horrible AC. I regret purchasing this AC.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Faulty

I bought my first one plugged it in and automatically had issues with shut down. Called and they sent me a new one, again unit shuts down. I've filled the reservoir, moved the unit to a smaller room, adjusted the vent hoses etc etc. I live in Wyoming so we have hot and dry summers. I am sending the replacement back as well and going to look elsewhere.

Ideal for Studio Apt
