Worked for one summer

It worked fine for one summer, the second summer it quit cooling after about 3 weeks of running it.. We are in Minnesota so only have about two months of summer when we need an A/C unit. No, I will not buy from here again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cools more than we thought it would

We ordered it on a reccommendation from a friend in NC. We live in MN and this is our only source of AC. It cools our open kitchen, dining area, and living room very adequatly. It also takes the edge off adjacent rooms.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but not great

I bought this unit to cool our small living room and kitchen area (measured @ 299 sq. ft.). I decided to spend the extra money on a unit rated to cool a much larger area, hoping that it would easily cool the little space. While it does cool it a bit, it sure doesnt do what I was hoping for. It makes the room bearable, so I guess it does its job, but the room is still warm and somewhat uncomfortable. Set up was easy, my wife did it while I was at work. Shipping was quick and I would gladly do business with Air & Water again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You can't go wrong with a NewAir portable air conditioning unit. Works great and cools off quickly. Easy to vent. This company has the very best customer support. If you ever need to troubleshoot a problem, the support team (especially Becky) will go all out to explain and answer any questions, and they will respond quickly. I am more than pleased and satisfied with my NewAir unit. Can't say enough good things about this company, their products and their customer service. Would definitely buy again.

My unit arrived in perfect condition and was easy to install. Here in NC the temps have been near 90' with relatively high humidity already. I decided to really test it and turned the thermostat down all the way in a 450 sq ft above garage room. In two hours it was down to 68 degrees ! ( set at 75 now) I did Dremmel out the inside dimensions of a light weight plastic dryer vent cover to keep critters out of the 5 1/2 exhaust hose when not in use. I am very pleased with the product, your price and service. I will happily recommend you !!

It was quick and easy to set up and sufficiently cools the middle part of a 600 square foot old apartment that has no insulation. It was purchased to keep a thick furred Maine Coon cat comfortable when the temperature reaches 90 outside. Rather than panting and not knowing what to do with herself, she now has the coolest spot on the end of the sofa.

Best decision I ever made

Have a 100+ yr old hse. Had central air put in last yr. does not cool our upstairs bedroom quite as cool as we hoped. Plus we have two GSD who sleep in the room. It gets hot in there. Saw a review on this on YouTube with OUT OF GOSHEN. They loved it, so I figured I would try it. Easy install. Easy to use. Sounds like a regular window unit so to me it's white noise. Cools the room perfectly. I love this and should have bought it last yr!! The ONLY issue is that the remote control screen does not light up when using it so at 1am if you want to change anything your gonna need a light on. Other than that I have no issues and highly suggest if your on the fence to buy one that you just buy it. You won't be sorry. Just ask my dogs. No more panting or up n down all night looking for a cool spot on the floor lol
