Turn on will only cool room 3-4 degrees. I've had window units that cool the room way better. used it in a small room and temperature held at 77 degrees while it was 85 degrees outside. Water reservoir empties quickly. Not recommended for south Texas weather where the temperature hits triple digits.

A/C Okay for now

When I first got this up and running, started having the dreaded short-cycling issue. Adjusting the fan louvres seemed to solve that problem. Suspect that some of the cold air was being bounced back onto a poorly placed thermostat/temp sensor, causing a false reading. Also, the owner's manual states that in auto mode the fan will keep running when the compressor cycles off. Incorrect - the fan goes off, too. When manually going from cool to fan, the noise is barely noticeable. When it all goes off at once, it's somewhat jarring. Not to mention probably inefficient. Auto mode seems a bit erratic in general, so I don't use it. However, this unit does cool fairly well, as long as actively managed and monitored. Additionally, the vent hose is better designed than my last portable. Have had it a little over a week.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The build quality is fantastic and the portability is incredible! We received the product fast and the setup was what I was concerned about but once I looked at the directions my mind was at ease! I had it up and running within 10 minutes! I cranked it up to the highest setting and my room was cooled within a minute or two! It blew so hard I had papers flying around lol absolutely incredible and this summer will be a breeze! By the way I am in Arizona so this is a must buy!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simply Cool!

I've use this AC in my home during a hot summer day to help my central AC keep the my house cool. We kept it in the livingroom and it worked perfectly and my house stayed comfortable while my central AC didn't have to work so hard. Lately, I've been using it in my office on weekends because the landlord cranks up the AC to about 83 to conserve energy. The office is 2 rooms totaling 730 SQFT and it keeps the entire place comfortable.

Great For Second Floors

I have a two story home which I don’t have zone heating and cooling. This is portable air conditioner has made my bedroom how much better place to be. Before I had this portable air conditioner, I would never stay in my bedroom. Now I can Sleep at night and actually need a cover. Besides that I actually do not have a ugly unit hanging out my window in the front of my house.
