Simply Cool!

I've use this AC in my home during a hot summer day to help my central AC keep the my house cool. We kept it in the livingroom and it worked perfectly and my house stayed comfortable while my central AC didn't have to work so hard. Lately, I've been using it in my office on weekends because the landlord cranks up the AC to about 83 to conserve energy. The office is 2 rooms totaling 730 SQFT and it keeps the entire place comfortable.

So far so good...we just wanted something small to take the edge off and this is doing just that. Only complaint I have are the instructions..doesn't clearly explain what all the modes do and the instructions is does include are not clear. Some modes are not covered at all in the instructions (automatic). Better detailed instructions would have helped me a lot, I feel like I'm guessing without them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased 2 of these units 2 years ago; one was ok but the one used for the upstairs bedroom drew hot air from the outside so filled the reservoir every 20 minutes - returned that one. This year sees the second one moving in the same direction as the other one so as it's out of warranty will probably end up in the dump. They look good, are heavy and don't give enough cold air for my liking - wasted $500.

works well for a small space

unit is single vent and does pull a negative draw on the room you put the a/c in. if is an extra unit to help out a main unit will work well, if not it will pull hot air from adjacent rooms. takes a while to cool down a hot room, better to just leave it on if you like a cool room in july. is what it is and 14000 is not a big btu unit, but it is portable with wheels and cools better than a fan. all in all I would recommend this unit for renters/persons that can not use a window or wall unit for what ever reason. it does cool, I have never had to empty any water out from the unit which is nice, it is no noisier than a window unit, ionized air is very freshening. and it does do what I needed it to do here. maybe a double vent and bigger btu's may work even better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t seem Work right

This thing runs all day and night, but doesn’t seem to do much of anything except make noise. It’s brand new, right out of the box and the air coming out of it doesn’t feel any cooler at all
