Works good. The water reservoir help cool the condenser lowers head pressure. Like it. Had a little problem getting hose into adapter.

Doesn't cool

This unit ran for three days in one room and it wouldn't drop below 79 degrees. The room is approximately 400 square feet and it was certainly cooler, but I found that the unit didn't do any better than the small, old window unit it replaced. I gave it a three because in all fairness, I never tried the heater or dehumidifier. FYI I did add water to the tank and I had drained any condensation from the unit.

I had very high hopes for this little portable unit and bought it for the ability to use this all year round as both an AC and a heater. I live in the Mojave Desert of Southern California and it gets HOT. While sitting in front of it, the AC blows ice cold air, but it unfortunately didn't cool my room, which is half of what it's supposed to be able to cool. It didn't get it below 80 even though I had it at its lowest possible setting (I wasn't expecting it to lower the room to 62). The only time it got pretty chilly was at night when the temp outside dropped drastically. I think this unit is probably amazing for someone who doesn't live in such a hot climate. It just couldn't keep up with the heat outside. Other than that, the appearance is very sleek and looks well made. I was very pleased with the little space it needed and while it wasn't super quiet, it was a lot quieter than other AC's I've owned.
