Amazing Portable A/C

I bought this air conditioner to help cool down my detached apartment. It keeps the entire 600 square feet at a nice 69 degrees when the temperature outside is around 85. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good quality AC unit.

For years we have suffered the brutal summers in Houston due to an a/c unit that just couldn't keep the house cool. With 90+ degree weather day after day it makes for a long hot summer. We finally decided to get this unit to help cool the place off. We strategically placed it in a central room. I'm very happy with the unit. It helps keep the house cooler. We have uneven cooling in our house, so when the rest of the house is cool, the master bedroom is a few degrees warmer. We like it cold in the bedroom, so we decided to get a portable a/c unit. After much research, we decided on the NewAir. Best decision we've made! Bedroom stays at a cool and comfortable 64 degrees! No more waking up in a sweat! Thanks Air & Water!

I've had this unit now for a few months. This is my second one because the first stopped working after only 2 uses. It was under warranty of course, and air-n-water were very good with the return and exchange. This company seems top notch, and I will purchase from them in the future. As for the A/C itself, it cools a very large area in my house to acceptable levels. I am currently using it in an area about 600 sq ft. Don't get me wrong, it's not exactly frosty, but it does make it more comfortable than if we had nothing. I will buy another next year, and use these running together, which should cool down the whole area with no problem. The only real negative I can say right now is that it is noisy, but that is to be expected.
