Love this cooler!

Living in Salt Lake City means that it is hot and dry the majority of the year. This evaporative cooler is EXACTLY what we needed. I love that it is mobile so we can move it wherever we need it. We've just built a home gym in our garage, and this works AWESOMELY for keeping us from getting overheated. We also have used it on our patio during a barbecue so that we and our guests were comfortable. It is incredible the IMMEDIATE difference you can feel in the air when you use it. Highly recommended!

Our Luma evaporative cooler has served us well in a rather unconventional usr---to keep our laying hens cool during the south Texas summers---will certainly buy another one whenever the occassion arises.

Living in the desert means that it is hot and dry a lot. This product is EXACTLY what we needed. It is super easy to move it wherever we need it. From our home gym in the garage to our patio for bbqs, this works AWESOMELY for keeping us from getting overheated. Can't recommend it enough.

Game Changer for people who live in the desert.

I wanted to share my opinion and to comment on another person's negative review. Ok first of all I love my Luma Evaporative Cooler. I live in Las Vegas where temps get to 117° in the shade. Humidity usually under 15% so as they say "It's a dry heat" my Luma is a life saver. I have covered patio that extends the whole length of the back of my home. I have a living room set up outside. A couch, coffee table, end tables. You get the picture. That's why I originally purchase the cooler. To use it next to us, in our outside living room. Well It has not disappointed. I did my Research before buying and I'm glad I ended up with this model. Ok so as I said live in Las Vegas. And it gets Hot here, really Hot. And my cooler blows cold really cold Like 63° when it's over 110° outside. I have a thermometer stuck right in the front grill of mine so I know how cold it's blowing at all times. So needless to say I love my Luma cooler. To respond to a negative review I had read. He was complaining about the ice compartment in the back. And how he couldn't put ice it the coolers reservoir tank because of a plastic honeycombed screen under the compartment hatch. You are using it wrong. The compartment is not filling the cooler up with ice.The design of the compartment was so you can put a few pieces of ice in the compartment the honeycombs help hold the ice their so some of the coolers return water runs over a top of the ice and by doing so it supercharges the evaporative properties of the cooler. The compartment door is not intended to be used for filling the ten gallon reservoir up with ice. Now if you wanted to use the compartment door or hatch to fill the unit up with ice you could do that with a little modification to the cooler. You would need to cut off the plastic Honeycomb screen that is behind the compartment door that is stoping you from doing just that. Then you could fill the whole thing up with ice. To sum it up. I couldn't spend the time outside In the summer in Las Vegas without my Luma. It is my most valuable Desert summer defending tools. One more thing. If you live in a humid environment. Any evaporate cooler Will Not work so good because it's an Evaporative cooler. So any Humidity Kills it's effectiveness. I used to live in New Jersey. Where it's very humid in the summer. I don't think this is going to work as good for you then it does for me. For anyone who lives in the Desert This is a Game Changer. The pictures I added were to show how the ice tray is supposed to be used.

Cools Super Fast!

We are starting to warm up here in AZ and I'm so glad to have this cooler! It cools the hottest part of our home fast, I love that its on wheels and I can move it to where I want it. Only drawbacks are its size and its a bit noisy, but I'll take that any day over being hot! Definitely worth the purchase!

Just received my new Luma air a few days after we went thru Hurricane Florence in N.C. Most wonderful thing I have ever used. The air here right now is so humid and sticky and this item just send air all thru the house. Very quiet but has strong steel blade and rotating vents to distribute air evenly. Thank you to the folks who assisted me when my old unit broke down right before the storm hit.
