Perfect For A Cigar Humidor! Higly Recommended

I have had this unit for about month now and am using it as my Cigar Humidor. I have 7 Cheaphumidor trays in there fora ll my single cigars, I have about 3 lbs. of KL (Exquisicat) loaded in 4 different petsmart media bags (one on the bottom and top and 2 in between sitting on the back side of the shelves). This unit I keep at 66 at all times and my 2 Caliber III temp/hygros read it at 69 (so this unit runs about 3 degrees hotter and I have seen this stated in other reviews). 70 degrees and below is perfect for cigars (some like it lower and this unit will go a lot lower so it will fit any temp your desire you sticks to be cooled at). It is in my opinion the most attractive wine cooler on the market and has The Best price point of them with seemingly just as good build quality and construction. It is a fairly quite unit (imagine how loud a computer is and that's the Db of this unit) since its really only a PC fan running in the unit. You hear just a humm when its continuously running but not bad at all. If this is going to be stored in a Very quite room then you will hear it for sure though. Overall I would recommend this to Anyone looking for a an awesome cooler at this price point and I have sold many online cigar smokers on this unit so far. And there are people who build custom drawers and shelves for this specific unit as well to store you cigar collection. Whether you are using it for wine or cigars you wont be disappointed in this unit.

Was great for 3 years. Moved it 10 feet and it broke

Used this to store lambic beer. Worked fine for 3 years or so. When I moved it from one room to another in my house, it stopped working. Had to purchase a replacement main board in the hopes that it will repair it. I'll update my review if it does.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only down side, make sure door is pushed close all the way, the door magnet does not pull it in to close even it is just a 1/16 of an inch away!

Wine Cooler Racks to Close Together

The NewAir 28 bottle wine refrigerator does not have enough space between the wine racks to easy place and remove bottles. You have to force the bottles in and lift up on the shelf that is above the wine bottle to remove the bottle. This is certainly a disappointment and I could not recommend this product.

This product worked exactly as advertised

First the bad news This product shipped with a missing part Now the good news After one call to A&W service dept, the part was supplied UPS overnight. I bought this wine cooler in Sept and have waited a month to make sure the unit operates as advertised. To say the least it works exactly as advertised It holds 28 bottles, keeps them at 54 degrees, is quiet, has a fine build quality, and a company who stands by their product and fixed their oops on the first call without question. What more could you want I would definitely buy this product again

Great unit! (cigar humidor) & How to remove smell.

Like many, I use this as a cigar humidor. It easily fits 9 cigar trays plus. (Don't use all the wire racks and stack them. I'm using 3 lbs of ConservaGel beads...overkill but they're cheap!). SMELL REMOVAL: To remove the smell try wiping down with a 50/50 mixture of distilled white vinegar and distilled water. Before that I tried a week long newspaper, baking soda, airing out, wiping down process and they all helped, but not perfectly. After the white vinegar, wipe down with distilled,let air out with baking soda over night and you should be good.

Great value - not perfect but better than the rest

I bought this about 3 years ago. It worked pretty well until a few months ago. It then developed a ghost that would appear to press the buttons on the control panel at random times. I contacted the manufacturer who sent me back to Air-n-water. I have to tell you, this company really likes its customers. We were able to narrow down the problem in a few minutes, and they sent me a replacement circuit board at a very reasonable price. Replacing it was a little complicated because it involved soldering two wires, which they should have had on a connector, plus about 5 other connectors. Pros: price, appearance, capacity, customer service Cons: can be a little noisy especially in the summer, the racks don't hold the larger Pinot/Burgundy bottles very well although I was able to force them in (not good if you care about the labels). Also the temp control/readout is not 100% accurate - you can use a thermometer and adjust the temp up/down to compensate. I would have liked a lock but not a huge deal. I suspect that my list of cons would apply to the more popular brands as well, based on reading many reviews. I think the biggest complaint is trying to force the larger bottles in, and if they changed this to a 24-bottle cooler and gave another millimeter or two to each of the racks, this would have worked out great. I cannot stress enough the customer service aspect of Air-n-water. They even sent me a thank you note.
